CREATIVE STATEMENT
My interest in greeting cards began early! My first job when I was 15 was at a local Hallmark shop, and I spent large amounts of time reading and examining all the cards, and I would dream about what it would be like to be a card artist. As an illustrator who specializes in greeting cards, I nurture this focus by a lot of practice, a lot of research, and a lot of brainstorming new ideas. What I love most about greeting cards is their power to convey powerful, heartfelt, and meaningful sentiments in a small format.

Q&A
What is your favorite occasion to illustrate?
My favorite category to illustrate is everyday cards, including encouragement, thinking of you, and congrats. I love illustrating puns and quirky/cute sentiments that are uplifting.
Which card do you still keep on your desk?
Currently, I keep my new friendship card from Leanin' Tree cards on my desk because I love how it turned out and all the little details.
What is the most unique card you ever created?
The most unique card I've ever created is a sympathy card that was deeply meaningful to me after losing my mom in 2021. It includes ocean imagery and sandpipers that were part of a larger story that related to her life and passing.
