CREATIVE STATEMENT
I love to implement florals, botanicals and any form of nature into my illustrations. Over the years of diving into illustration, I’ve created flora and fauna art and patterns for projects such as books, stationery, fabric, and product packaging. My hope with my work is to create a deeper connection with nature through art. Nature has a healing element just by observing it, I like to focus my work on creating earthy nature illustrations to bring a calm energy to people.

Q&A
Which flower do you draw the most?
Poppies, I love the way the petals flow and the intricacy of the center of the flower.
What grows in your garden?
I'm currently trying to grow Butterfly Weed, Canterbury Bells, Lupines, Poppies, and Wildflowers. I'm excited to finally have a space for these flowers, so hopefully I'm successful!
What do flowers symbolize to you?
For me flowers are great reminders of patience and overcoming adversity, two things I think are very useful to have in this world.
