CREATIVE STATEMENT
Nestled on a Virginia hillside with a view of the Blue Ridge mountains, I draw inspiration for my illustrations of flowers and plants from changing seasons, sunsets, and local gardens. During my MFA in web design, I discovered a passion for digital illustration—a refreshing escape from complex coding projects. I developed this interest further through long hours of learning and experimentation while expanding my artistic range and becoming an expert on a digital platform. I find joy in infusing a whimsical realism into my illustrations, creating a delicate dance between fantasy and the tangible beauty of the natural world around me.
