CREATIVE STATEMENT
As someone who is endlessly inspired by wildlife and nature, incorporating flowers and plants into my illustration work is as easy and effortless to me as breathing. I think that there is almost nothing more universally beautiful than botanicals, and I find I'm just filled to the brim with joy when I am illustrating and drawing flowers. Florals and plants can be the star of the show in my illustrations, or they can play a beautiful supporting role that helps frame and show off the main focus or motif. During my career as an artist, I have put some form of plant or flower on nearly every single piece of artwork I have created, and have had the distinct pleasure of seeing it resonate strongly with brands, companies, and customers alike.

I draw daisies and Lily-of-the-valley the most!
What grows in your garden?
I can't garden where I live, but I have adorned my house with many beautiful indoor plants—my Brasil Philodendron being my most favorite!
What do flowers symbolize to you?
Flowers symbolize beauty, joy, renewal, and also loss to me—as I feel their lack very strongly during the winter months!
