CREATIVE STATEMENT
What I love about editorial illustration is how it can bring so much more personality to an article or advertisement than a photograph can do alone. As a medium, it has incredible potential to freely and imaginatively express complex or abstract topics. Since graduating from ECA several years ago, I’ve enjoyed building a career based on using illustration express mood and atmosphere, and bringing ideas to life. A particular highlight of my career has been working with NATO to create a collaborative graphic novel with other artists from across the world.

What topic do you most enjoy illustrating about?
I enjoy illustrating topics relating to wellness and mental health. Using mood and colour in an illustration to express abstract, internal concepts like these can be really effective.
