CREATIVE STATEMENT
What I love most about designing greeting cards is being able to use my own thoughts, experiences, and feelings and create art that others can relate to, and enjoy, and want to share and give to their friends. If it makes them giggle, bonus points! I use my graphic design experience to guide me with layout and hand-lettering, and let my imagination create the rest—always infused with colour and happiness. To maintain my skillset, I draw, a lot! And take classes to learn new skills and try new techniques to help grow my style and work.

What is your favorite occasion to illustrate?
Birthday, because…cake!
Which card do you still keep on your desk?
I have a few faves that I rotate, but heavy rotation features some of my sweary ones. Haha!
What is the most unique card you ever created?
I created one for a client who loves cold-water swimming, so it was of her in her leopard swimsuit as a mermaid, doing her thing. So much fun!
