CREATIVE STATEMENT
Before I became a full-time illustrator, I worked for 16 years as a film and TV graphic designer; creating props, signs, logos and much more for the sets of major motion pictures and award-winning TV shows. I enjoy illustrating for brands because I love creating new art that still faithfully reflects the brand’s identity, it’s like solving a fun puzzle! I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, I’ve been nominated for an Art Director’s Guild Award, and I’ve been featured on NPR’s "All Things Considered," in TED, UPPERCASE Magazine, and Peppermint Magazine.

Q&A
What is your favorite logo?
I love the simplicity and timelessness of the IBM and NASA logos (in all their iterations).
Which brand do you most admire for its use of illustration?
I really enjoy seeing Google’s Daily Doodle, because it’s always unique and reflective of so many different styles.
What packaging would be your dream job?
I would love to create a series of lifestyle illustrations for a food or beverage company, because there are so many opportunities to tell a story and evoke a mood.
