CREATIVE STATEMENT
Binny Talib is an award winning Author/Illustrator based in Sydney. Binny has been a surface patterns illustrator for 15 years, partnering with Milton and King in designing wallpaper sold across US and Australia. Binny also recently partnered with German porcelain company, Konitz to create mug designs. She has a whimsical, contemporary style and has illustrated over 30 books here and internationally, including: picture, baby board, non-fictions and chapters. Her debut as an author /illustrator is Origami Heart (Hachette) AUS, UK release. Hark It’s me Ruby Lee (words Lisa Shanahan) was awarded an honor from the CBCA and short listed for the Prime Minister’s literary awards. 65,000 copies were distributed to Victorian prep bags, including a Braille version.

Really enjoy creating wallpaper, fabric, puzzles, children’s fashion, and stationery.
Where do you find inspiration?
I find inspiration in nature, retro designs from my childhood, vintage design.
