CREATIVE STATEMENT
My interest in animal an wildlife illustration was born from a childhood spent outdoors. As a kid you could find me wading in the creeks of West Virginia, chasing lightning bugs, scouting, and horseback riding. Now, I love to hike the mountains of Colorado. Over the years I’ve honed my expertise in this illustration niche by working on projects that celebrate the outdoors and the bond we have with wildlife and the pets we love.

What animal do you most relate to?
I would love to be a panda. Equal parts ferocious and adorable, I would roll around eating bamboo all day.
What animal is the most fun to draw?
I love drawing flamingos. They are absurd and graceful with impossible proportions, amazing gestures, and fabulous shades of pink.
Which do you prefer: cats or dogs?
Dogs! Though I do love my cat friends.
