CREATIVE STATEMENT
My interest in lettering began in 2012, as a stress reliever from my corporate job back then. Over the years, I developed my skills in hand-drawn type and digital illustration, which enabled me to work on various editorial projects as well as create my own line of merchandise. What I enjoy most about lettering is the way it transforms words into more impactful images. My style is usually fun and colorful, but I am not afraid to experiment outside of my creative comfort zone! I also love combining lettering and illustration in my work.

What is your favorite letter in the alphabet?
This may have something to do with my name starting with this letter, but I love the letter E because it’s so fun to play with! .
What is your favorite quote?
“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes,” attributed to Marcel Proust. It’s something I practiced a lot when I was starting out.
What writing tool do you use?
For work, I use Procreate on the iPad, but for personal sketching and doodling, I love the Zebra Fude Extra Fine Brush Pen!
