WHY DID WE CREATED THIS TEMPLATE?

To give illustrators a jump start that enables them to quickly and easily create a well-designed website that focuses on a specific body of work.

Recently, we’ve felt that our portfolio websites were not focused enough—too many menu options, too many different kinds of work, too crowded. We each had a body of work that deserved it’s own home, it’s own website. We feel so much better now—knowing it’s all in one place, in one beautiful home.

      SALLI SAYS

After I saw all my food illustrations on my new website, I was re-energized by my practice and proud of all the work I’ve done!

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT, FROM A BUSINESS PERSPECTIVE?

      • Potential clients are looking for illustrators who are experts
      • Potential clients want to see examples of your expertise
      • A website that contains many examples within a cohesive body of work is exactly what potential clients want to see

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT, FROM A PERSONAL PERSPECTIVE?

      • Illustration is how we share our love and interests and passions and skills and creativity with our friends and family
      • As artists, we have an obligation to archive and share the work we create
      • When we—or our friends/family/fans—wish to look back upon our creative output, we want to view it within a beautiful place
