CREATIVE STATEMENT
When I was little, I would go with my mom (an avid sewer) to fabric stores and walk down isles of fabric with colorful motifs and be absolutely amazed. I’ve been hooked since then. I’ve been in the design industry for over 25 years and cherish anytime I have had the opportunity to work with pattern. Through the years it’s grown to be one of my specialties and I couldn’t love it more. I’ve designed patterns for backpacks, coolers, totes, packaging and even video games. I love combining my love of illustration, quirky characters, color, and texture and developing unique patterns.

What industry do you most enjoy creating patterns for?
I really love creating designs for the gift industry but specifically the children’s market.
Where do you find inspiration?
So often my inspiration comes from family, travel and the outdoors.
What would be your dream pattern job?
I would love to work with Pottery Barn Kids, Crate and Kids, and Target.
