CREATIVE STATEMENT
I have always been an avid baker/foodie. Even decorating cakes in college for extra money. Now I bake for family and friends and work on perfecting the French macaron. It’s no surprise that
I consider food one of my specialties and favorite subjects to paint. After spending time as a freelance package designer for various design studios, you realize how important it is to capture the food’s essence in artwork. I put my own stylistic flare into each piece whether it be surface pattern design, editorial illustration, or book illustration, using texture, hand lettering, color, and expressive line work.

What fruit or vegetable do you most love to illustrate?
I love painting pears! You will see them quite often in my licensing work.
What is your comfort food?
Ice cream is my favorite comfort food. Particularly Blue Moon and Bubblegum.
What is your favorite beverage?
Coffee in the morning, sparkling water during the day and occasionally as a treat anything fruit punch flavored!
