CREATIVE STATEMENT
I was inspired by elephants at the zoo to start painting art for children, which led me into my charming, wonky style of greeting cards. I begin every painting by asking myself what I find funny about my subject and I like to exaggerate imperfections, celebrating the beautiful and endearing quirkiness of everything I paint. I hope my greeting cards can inspire everyone to celebrate their inner nincompoop and see the beauty in imperfections.
