CREATIVE STATEMENT
I am a map maker and illustrator based in the wildlife rich tidal marshes of South Carolina. Rediscovering the vicarious joys of travel through map making sparked my passion for illustrated maps. Always driving me is my lifelong love of travel and the history of different cultures. Some of my illustrations are in books, magazines, games, on posters, card games, and T-shirts.

What is your most memorable vacation spot?
There's a tiny island in the 1000 Islands in Ontario that is a piece of paradise in the summer. It has only one house, and dogs can run free.
What is your favorite mode of transportation?
I enjoy a good bike ride and long hikes.
Which do you prefer: mountains, desert, beach, or forest?
Mountains always beckon, the air gets clearer the higher you climb. Trees provide an endless source of inspiration.
