CREATIVE STATEMENT
My interest in food illustration began with my fascination for cooking, plating and the aesthetic potential of ingredients—both in real life and on paper. Over the years, my expertise in capturing food atmospheres and textures has developed due to countless illustrated commissions for editorial magazines, recipe books and packaging. As an illustrator who specializes in food illustration, I am continuously learning about trends in food culture, experimenting with palettes and compositions, and staying curious about how food tells stories. What I love most about food illustration is its ability to awaken emotions and create an instant sense of mood and place. I believe it’s important to balance accuracy with atmosphere—and translate texture and taste into visual language. I draw regularly from life, explore new tools (especially in Procreate), and stay in close exchange with clients in food design and illustration.
