CREATIVE STATEMENT
I’ve been drawing since I could hold a pencil, and love to make things with my hands incorporating handmade textures and linework. I believe in lifelong learning, and create work that adds beauty, play, and texture to the everyday. My points of inspiration include vintage travel brochures, mid-century advertising, and classic botanical illustrations. Today, that translates into my floral illustrations and patterns. My favorite mediums to work with are ink and gouache paint. When I’m not working, you can find me in the garden or cooking up a storm in the kitchen!

Q&A
Which flower do you draw the most?
Peonies! I love all their layers and the jagged leaves.
What grows in your garden?
A little bit of everything from vegetables to native flowers, but growing pumpkins is the most satisfying to watch.
What do flowers symbolize to you?
Flowers symbolize that there is always something beautiful to find even in the darkest of moments or times.
