CREATIVE STATEMENT
My interest in flowers began as a child. My grandparents had a dream garden, with old-time flowers such as sweet peas, gladiolas and morning glories, and I was given free range to pick them. As an adult, my fave places for inspiration: include: botanical gardens, farmer's markets and nurseries. I naturally gravitated towards painting flowers and they are still my favorite subject. They have appeared on Birkenstock's , fabric, and all sorts of products over the last few years.

What industry do you most enjoy creating patterns for?
I really enjoy creating for the Home Decor industry, but flowers can appear on anything and everything. I love creating and licensing my work for all sorts of fun products.
Where do you find inspiration?
I find inspiration everywhere. I find it in antique stores, flea markets, books, gardens, museums, and in nature.
What would be your dream pattern job?
My dream job is to design a line for Anthropologie, sell a fun book about sketch booking to Chronicle. Can I go on ? Some day, I would love to design flowery greeting cards for Red Cap cards, and socks for Blue Q
