CREATIVE STATEMENT
Growing up in Massachusetts, I was surrounded by a variety of house and building styles, from coastal dune shacks in Provincetown to brownstones in Boston. I always loved looking at the details of these buildings, and as I traveled more as an adult I was fascinated by the way homes and buildings were constructed in other places. The first home portrait I drew was of my parents house, and I eventually began offering custom home portraits for others. What I love most about drawing these portraits is hearing the stories behind each home and bringing them to life through tiny details. I like to embrace the imperfections that come with drawing by hand, allowing quirks like uneven windows or imperfect walkways to add character to my work.

What is your favorite style of architecture?
I don't think I have a favorite, but I'm drawn to anything on the older side.

I love the vibrancy of city living.
