CREATIVE STATEMENT
Of all the holidays throughout the year I like the iconography of the winter celebrations the best. I love finding new ways to draw snowflakes, snowmen, trees and ornaments. Over the years I’ve illustrated dozens of doves, plenty of packages and many cups of cocoa with candy canes. Finding ways to tuck a little holiday magic and sparkle into every design is all part of the fun of illustrating for the winter holidays.

What is your favorite holiday dish?
Anything with cinnamon!
Which film do recommend for holiday viewing?
The 1982 animated version of The Snowman. The music is so beautiful and calming.
What is your go-to gift for the host of a holiday party?
I like gifting consumable vegan treats in pretty packaging. Spices, teas, jams, nuts, chocolates and fancy crackers. I can’t resist a beautiful label or decorative tin!
