CREATIVE STATEMENT

My interest in plants and florals began through a lifelong connection to nature and a background exploring many creative disciplines. Over the years, my expertise in pattern design and illustration has developed through regular collection building and hands on experience creating artwork for licensing. As an illustrator specializing in floral and nature inspired design, I nurture this focus through trend research, daily sketching, and drawing directly from the natural world. What I love most about floral illustration is its ability to convey emotion through color. For me, the most important qualities of a successful illustration are color and emotional warmth.
