CREATIVE STATEMENT
I am a British artist specialising in hand-painted illustrations that celebrate the simple things in life. My food illustrations embrace all the meaningful moments of comfort that food can bring us, as well as the connections between food, earth and body. I am interested in the idea of well being and how food contributes to that, whether that be in nutrition, spiritual connection, ritual or self love.

Q&A
What fruit or vegetable do you most love to illustrate?
I find root vegetables, especially beetroots and turnips particularly satisfying to illustrate, there's something so comforting about winter veg.
What is your comfort food?
My favourite comfort foods involve vegetables too, hearty soups with a big chunk of homemade bread are THE best pick me ups on wintry days.
What is your favorite beverage?
Another cosy day favourite is a hot cup of tea and a slice of cake, or a peppermint tea and a ginger biscuit.....or a milky coffee and a piece of apple pie.....if it warms the soul and lifts the mood, I'm there!
