CREATIVE STATEMENT

My interest in surface pattern design started as a creative escape during the chaos of an intense MBA program and somehow turned into a full-blown obsession with color, storytelling, and making art that feels happy. Over the years, my expertise has grown through creating playful repeat patterns, product-ready collections, and personality-filled artwork inspired by pets, humor, internet culture, and everyday life. As an illustrator who specializes in bold, expressive design, I’m constantly experimenting with color palettes, trends, and fun little details that make people smile. For me, the best patterns are the ones that feel both joyful and unforgettable.

    Q&A

What industry do you most enjoy creating patterns for?
I especially love creating patterns for home, paper goods, pet products, gifts, and lifestyle brands because I love seeing artwork become part of people’s everyday lives in fun, meaningful, and memorable ways.

    Where do you find inspiration?
A lot of my inspiration comes from my two dogs, Murphy and Teddy, along with funny everyday moments, seasonal trends, packaging design, internet culture, and the little details that make people smile.

What would be your dream pattern job?
My dream pattern job would be creating large licensed collections for major retailers and brands where my artwork could live across home décor, stationery, pet products, packaging, apparel, accessories, and seasonal collections all at once.
