CREATIVE STATEMENT
I am an illustrator and surface pattern designer, originally from Germany and living in the UK. Inspired by the native flora and fauna, I create whimsical and nostalgic illustrations and patterns with lots of textures and layers. Combining hand drawn and digital tools, I create magical watercolor and gouache repeating patterns with a painterly feel. Flowers of every kind feature heavily in my work, and I try to emulate the dreamy and magical feel of the Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts Movement style.

Where do you find inspiration?
I find inspiration wherever I go and a lot of my designs are based on little discoveries I make while walking my dog.

Creating a whole fabric collection for a sustainable textile brand would be an absolute dream come true.
