CREATIVE STATEMENT
I studied textiles and surface pattern design at the University of Central Lancashire in the UK. I didnt actually develop my love for art into a career until a few years later when I moved to USA after marrying my husband. I have a passion to create feminine, bohemian prints inspired by Art Nuveau, Art Deco, and ethnic designs. I create and draw all my elements by hand on good old fashioned paper. I then digitally add color and create the patterns allowing the textures and imperfections to come through in my designs.
