CREATIVE STATEMENT
As an illustrator who specializes in food and recipes, I nurture this focus by cooking and baking. I love to make and draw delicious baked goods, salads, soups, cocktails and snacks. When I was asked to make spot illustrations for The German-Jewish Cookbook: Recipes and History of a Cuisine by Gabrielle Rossmer and Sonya Gropman, I was thrilled to be able to add my creative work to such a fantastic and history rich cookbook. I believe that making successful food and recipe illustrations requires a love of food and preparing food, and I so enjoy drawing these processes in eye-catching and creative ways.

I love (decaf) black tea with milk and sugar in the colder months and iced black tea with lemon and sugar in the summer.
