CREATIVE STATEMENT
I've been writing and illustrating ever since I can remember, but I fell in love with lettering during my MFA program. What I love most about lettering is finding a special quote or phrase that encapsulates something personal and poignant. I love inspirational quotes and affirmations and aim to spread joy and positivity through my art. For me, the most important part of illustration is noticing the beauty and magic of the world and trying to convey that within my work. When not illustrating, I'm probably writing, walking, drinking lots of coffee, or hanging out with my family and our six furry companions.

What is your favorite letter in the alphabet?
I love to letter M's. I may be biased, though.
What is your favorite quote?

What writing tool do you use?
I typically use Procreate, but I also love breaking out the old-fashioned ink pens and gouache.
