CREATIVE STATEMENT
I believe that illustrations on greeting cards act like interpreters, connecting the sender with the recipient. A successful card design requires a compelling narrative, engaging characters or motifs, and impactful colors. My aspiration is to create illustrations that not only let customers enjoy the story but also make them eager to share this happiness by sending the card to someone else.

What is your favorite occasion to illustrate?
I am particulary interested in creating Christmas cards. For me, the Christmas season is filled magic and happiness, which I wish to convey in my illustrations.

It's a card with flowers and a cat drawn by my friend.
What is the most unique card you ever created?
It's a card of a cat surfing at the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, drawn on a vase. It became a unique card with a combination of Japanese elements.
