CREATIVE STATEMENT
My interest in children's book art began in 2022, when I accidentally discovered the fun and magic that children's book art holds. As an illustrator who specializes in children's book art, I nurture this focus by empathizing with my kid self and making things that would blow her little mind. What I love most about children's book illustration is its ability to teach, nurture, heal and transport kids to a new world. I believe that every children's book should be its own work of art.

Q&A
What was your favorite storybook as a child?
This might be a really cliché answer, but I really loved The Very Hungry Caterpillar. It was so different and stood out from all other children's books, even when I was a kid.
Which authors do you admire most?
I admire Jon Klassen and Ezra Jack Keats. I love their simple, yet beautiful stories and art!
What characteristic really brings a children’s book to life?
To me, it will always be the art. It breathes life into the words of any children's book.
