CREATIVE STATEMENT
My interest and expertise in animal and wildlife illustration has developed due to a lot of practice in several techniques such as ink, watercolor, collage and digital. I nurture this focus by studying animals trying to capture their movement and personality. I learn something new every day about animals.
To create a successful wildlife illustrations I believe its important to bring life and motion to it—the two most important qualities are exploring new ways of expression and finding the essence of the animal. I keep on sketching daily and watching animals.

What animal do you most relate to?
It’s hard to say—I relate to the one I’m illustrating at the moment, maybe felines.
What animal is the most fun to draw?
Big animals like bears. Foxes are fun too.
Which do you prefer: cats or dogs?
I prefer cats slightly more.
