CREATIVE STATEMENT
I enjoy expressing creativity through a mix of printmaking and Procreate. As a graduate of Hussian School of Art, I majored in graphic design, and started my professional career working in an advertising art studio, then as a freelance graphic designer before my career as a teacher. I am now back as a freelance artist. I receive inspiration from the unique shapes of animals within their environment and simplifying them graphically. I also am influenced by mid-century modern children’s books and vintage ephemera. My designs are versatile for a wide variety of end uses. Many of the whimsical designs are part of a series, so there are usually at least 4 different designs per theme.
