CREATIVE STATEMENT
My passion for food illustration began early in my childhood, when I drew a bowl of Taiwanese sesame noodles for our family recipe book. Over the years, my expertise in food illustration has developed from creating process illustrations for La Marzocco Home’s barista masterclass and advertorial illustrations for a renowned sushi chef in Tokyo. As an illustrator specialized in food and drink illustrations, I enjoy trying out new cafes around town and live sketching at the local farmers market to stay inspired. What I love most about food illustration is its ability to tell stories across cultures. Through my work, I strive to capture the craftsmanship, tradition, and warmth that bring each dish to life.

Q&A
What fruit or vegetable do you most love to illustrate?
I find pears to be the most fun and at times challenging to draw for their unique texture and colors. I can never get tired of drawing (and eating) them!
What is your comfort food?
Shrimp wonton soup is my go-to comfort food. It's the best when drizzled with some sesame oil!
What is your favorite beverage?
Matcha latte with oat milk! I always start my day with one, and it's become a part of my morning ritual.
