CREATIVE STATEMENT
My interest in florals and patterns really took off when I moved to London in the late 90's. Their textile/pattern history is so rich compared to Sweden and I decided I just had to do my Bachelor there. I ended up doing textiles specialising in print and that was 22 years ago. Over the years, my expertise in creating patterns has developed due to me working with fashion as well as interior textiles and everything in between. The aspect I love most about creating florals and patterns is the decorative element that comes with making a repeat. It just looks so much more lush when it's in repeat, and I really enjoy the feeling I get from making a complicated and intricate pattern work.
