My favorite part about creating is making pieces that hold memories for people—my dogs have always been that for me and I love to share that with others.

What is your favorite pet portrait?
My favorite piece has been of my dog, Sunday, because I firstly adore her and secondly can feel her personality in the piece.
Which attribute is most important to capture in a pet portrait?
I believe most important is the eyes for it is how you are able to read the emotion of an animal.
What is special about your creative approach?
When working on a piece, my tendencies as a perfectionist drop off and I am able to allow for order to be lifted.
