CREATIVE STATEMENT
I began loving fantasy and fantasy art right from the beginning. While being enamored with mythology, cartoons, and films from the beginning I began to draw what I could imagine and breathe life into. With time and practice I began to hone my skills and craft and truly started to understand the form and structure of the world to be able to bend and break them within my art. I specialized in understanding how natural phenomenon actually worked and occurs so that I could entertain a realistic flourish within my surreal and fantastical illustrations. To truly immerse people within a piece of fiction it helps to understand what real expectations folks may have.
So to create engaging pieces it is important to understand the sources of your subjects and to understand what expectations might come from your audience. Putting this together I believe what makes illustrators succeed is study and understanding. So I diligently practice and spend time learning something new everyday to include within my art and build my skillsets.

Q&A
What super power do you wish for?
Power over lightning, I think it would be cool and flashy while also not having to worry about electric bills.
What is your favorite show or film?
A tough ask, as it changes for genre or mood, but the film I have watched the most has to be The Mummy from 1999.
Which do you prefer: outer space, deep sea, or fantasy lands?
Definitely fantasy lands. Give me Tir na Nog damnit!
