CREATIVE STATEMENT
Hello! I'm Lori and I'm an editorial illustrator that emphasizes in fashion and beauty. My artwork is infused with patterns, clothing, purses, florals, makeup, and lettering. I keep up with everything that is happening in the fashion and beauty world by reading all the latest Vogue has to offer, following celebrity and influencers in the world of fashion and beauty, and devouring all the fashion magazines I can get my hands on these days! In addition to current trends and styles, my love of fashion history and the process of the designers runs very deep. I live in a rural setting, midway between Salt Lake City and Las Vegas, surrounded by gorgeous red rock and gigantic mountains and pine trees. Accompanied by my dog, Cooper and occasionally my cat, Rodger, I walk often in nature and find a lot of peace and inspiration among the trails and hills. I've worked with clients that include Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Pixi Beauty, Sakura of America, Coach, Fendi, as well as others. With these clients, I've done live-sketch events, custom illustrations, as well as marketing pieces for local promotions and activities. I love working in an analog way, diving into a sketchbook with my pencils and markers! However, I also love uploading my sketches and editing and adding with digital tools such as photoshop, illustrator, and procreate.

Do you have any pets?
Yes! I have a black lab named Cooper and a tabby cat named Rodger. Also, two teenagers... do they count?
What is your favorite art supply?
I LOVE markers! I love how quickly and easily the color goes onto the page and being a bit impatient, markers are instant gratification with a burst of color and instantly dry.
What did you study in college?
I actually have a bachelor's in Biology because I love animals and thought I would become a veterinarian.
