CREATIVE STATEMENT

My interest in illustration began as a child. I’ve had a life-long love of art, nature, and the joy of creating something meaningful by hand.

Over the years, my expertise in illustration and painting has developed through years of client collaboration. I also studied textiles at Savannah College of Art and Design, where I deepened my understanding of pattern and composition.

As an illustrator who specializes in watercolor, hand rendering, and pattern design, I nurture this focus by continually refining my techniques, staying inspired by everyday beauty, and creating artwork with intention.
What I love most about my work is the ability to make people happy. To create a successful custom illustration, I believe it’s important to listen closely to the client, understand the vision, and balance beauty with purpose.

For me, the two most important qualities of a successful illustration are connection and craftsmanship. To maintain my skillset, I continue learning, practicing daily, and exploring new ways to evolve my watercolor, hand-rendered, and pattern work.
