CREATIVE STATEMENT
My illustration style is inspired by Scandinavian design and 1950s vintage fabrics. I specialise in creating bold floral designs and imagined magical gardens, drawing from the flora and fauna around me, ultimately, I enjoy making art that makes people smile. I'm drawn to the colours of nature, their perfect and imperfect beauty and the symbolism of different varieties—in my world, everything would be covered in flowers! I have work licensed in the US in the stationery, fabric and home goods markets and I have been commissioned to create pieces for brands including packaging for bespoke candles, book covers, illustrated prints, gifts and confectionery.

Q&A
Which flower do you draw the most?
I love to draw all flowers—real and imagined—but particularly peonies, chrysanthemums and daisies!
What grows in your garden?
I live by the sea so only the most robust survive the sea air, salt and North East winds! Daffodils and tulips flourish. I also have a pretty Mexican fleabane plant which I love - the mix of dainty white and pink daisies really pop against hardy cordylines and grasses.
What do flowers symbolize to you?
Love, joy and new beginnings.
