Characters have always been the staple of my art. Whimsical, usually odd, and quirky, I love using them in illustrations and patterns!

Q&A
Who is your favorite cartoon character?
That's a close one. I still have a fondness for Rainbow Brite and more importantly, her fascinating fuzzy friend with the star boppy things coming off his head (remember THAT guy? Such swag.) BUT, I may have to give it to Totoro. He's the OG Squishmallow, just with a terrifying roar.
What storybook do you remember from your childhood?
Cloe and Maude by Sandra Boyton. Those two cats were so charming with their opposite ways, and the way mom read each one with a distinct voice still sticks in my memory.
What is your superpower?
The real one? I oddly can hear a part of a song (bassline, sample) and can remember it years later. Absolutely useless except for a Halloween Party I was at where we did music trivia. I've peaked!
