CREATIVE STATEMENT
My interest in murals began in 2010 when I led a community mural project in a public park in the Bronx through a friend's group, which I had started to revitalize the park. I saw it as the perfect combination of art, problem-solving, and community work. Over the years, my expertise in muralism has grown through the numerous murals I've painted, not only on walls but also on asphalt and other mediums. As an illustrator specializing in muralism, I nurture this focus by incorporating many elements from my illustrations, such as Nature, lettering, and messages of hope, to create inviting pieces of art. What I love most about creating murals is their ability to connect with the people you are painting for and including them in the process. To create a successful mural, I believe it's important to understand who the client is—whether the stakeholders in the community or the company you're working with—and to create something that will uplift and bring a smile to those viewing it. For me, the two most important qualities of a successful mural are legibility and the ability to communicate a message in a universal way. To keep my skills sharp, I stay updated by following other muralists, exchanging information, and collaborating with fellow artists whenever I can.

Q&A
What is the largest mural you ever made?
Back in 2023, I led a renovation of an entire playground, including a basketball court, pickleball court, stage, and many walls, covering a total of 20,000 square feet. In 2025, I added four more walls next to the playground, adding 2,500 more square feet to the original project.
Which do you prefer: hand-painting or vinyl graphics?
I love hand-painted murals, whether created with acrylic paint or spray paint, but a good vinyl can look amazing, depending on the project's needs.
What would be your dream mural job?
I have completed many murals, and I think my dream would be to paint an entire 20-story building wall or something similar. It would be a challenge, but I would be willing to take it on!
