CREATIVE STATEMENT
My passion for flowers begins in childhood amidst El Salvador's vibrant landscapes. Over the years, my illustration skills have flourished, focusing mainly on exotic and lush flowers such as succulents, bromeliads, orchids, local plants, and fruits like mangoes, watermelons, plums, etc. Additionally, I include poppies, proteas, peonies, and other beautiful flowers that do not grow in my country. As an illustrator enchanted by botanicals, I draw inspiration from nature, incorporating elements from my tropical homeland. What I love most is how illustration can transform observations into tangible and detailed images, resonating globally. Creating successful illustrations demands originality and adaptability across diverse industries. To nurture my skills, I continuously explore new techniques, always with my sketchbook in hand.

Q&A
Which flower do you draw the most?
I love to draw lush exotic flowers, but I also love poppies and proteas.
What grows in your garden?
Wild simple, tiny flowers and bromeliads.
What do flowers symbolize to you?
Flowers symbolize so much to me. Take bromeliads, for example. They grow beautifully with minimal resources, yet they're still vibrant, happy, and resilient. They're like a reminder that even with little, we can still bloom brilliantly.
