CREATIVE STATEMENT
My interest in infographics started during my previous career as a program and change manager. Working for large organisations, I developed a fascination for the growing amount of information people are expected to absorb every day. Organisations communicate more, manage more change and share increasingly complex ideas, while people have less time to take it all in. A clear and engaging visual can help people understand the essence at a glance. Over the years, I have developed my expertise in illustrated infographics through projects for organisations, businesses and personal projects, translating ideas, processes and information into clear visual stories. I combine hand-drawn lettering, playful imagery and strong visual structure to make information engaging, memorable and even fun to explore.

Q&A
What has been your most rewarding commission?
I recently created a live illustrated visual about how government can build trust with citizens. I loved bringing together statistics, quotes and complex ideas into one visual story that felt both informative and human, and that people could take home as a visual summary of the talk.
What weird fact have you learned from a commission?
When I was making a factsheet about watermelons, I learned that square watermelons exist in Japan! They are grown in boxes so they can be stacked more efficiently.
What is the oddest thing you ever had to draw?
For a visual history of The Vegetarian Butcher, I had to draw a steel cow developed by Those Vegan Cowboys to produce vegan cheese. Fun fact: the cow was named Margaret, after Margaret Thatcher
