CREATIVE STATEMENT

I discovered my passion for art at a young age and pursued it further at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I was accepted at 16 years old and after a few years I graduated with honors and a BFA in Illustration. After university, my design expertise grew through hands-on experience as an in-house product designer, where I handled the conception and production of hundreds of products in collaboration with overseas manufacturers. In 2018, I launched my own illustration studio, and my work is now featured in US-based stores like Michaels, TJ Maxx, and Trader Joe's. I also contribute designs to international brands, including Nestle. Specializing in greeting cards, placement illustrations, and children's books, I'm currently working on a 14-book children's series set to launch this summer. My art is a dedicated effort to bring creativity, joy, and a bit of whimsy to the world.

Q&A

What is your favorite occasion to illustrate?
My favorite occasion to illustrate is Christmas. Lately I've had fun imagining Santa Claus in different scenarios and with alter egos. Elvis impersonator Santa? Cool! Tattooed Santa with "Mrs Claus" written in script on his bicep? Even better!

Which card do you still keep on your desk?
Anything that has mountains or forests on it. I live in a 1960's A-frame cabin in the mountains of SoCal, so 'nature' tends to be the vibe.

What is the most unique card you ever created?
It was a birthday card that featured three astronauts throwing a disco on the moon.
