CREATIVE STATEMENT
I am an illustrator and designer based in Brooklyn, NY, with an MA in Interactive Media from Goldsmiths College, University of London. My interest in the natural world began early. I always loved to swim, hike, and camp, and as I went through school, I was equally interested in biology as in art. Choosing to hone my expertise on the art side, I'm still very passionate about contributing to a sustainable, more equitable planet. I specialize in making bright, whimsical illustrations of animals and wildlife as a way to inspire joy and spark engagement with our Earth. My focus on animals and wildlife helps me to revel in and share the beauty and wonder of the natural world. I enjoy drawing single animals and pets, as well as full environmental scenes that showcase lush ecosystems and biomes like oceans or jungles.

What animal do you most relate to?
Pouf birds. They've got the cozy, cuddly thing down, but they fly when they want to!
What animal is the most fun to draw?
Probably something a bit offbeat like insects because they have such cool detail and color...but really all living beings fascinate me.
Which do you prefer: cats or dogs?
Dogs always make me smile. (And they don't make me sneeze!)
