CREATIVE STATEMENT
Whether as decorative imagery or fully realized characters, animals have the unique ability to convey emotion and storytelling to audiences of all ages. With over 15 years of experience illustrating animals for everything from packaging to tableware and giftbooks, I find the most successful collaborations are those that allow me to lean into my imagination to capture the extraordinary characteristics of each animal.

What animal do you most relate to?
Probably a manatee. I love the way they slowly move through life.
What animal is the most fun to draw?
I love drawing chickens! They have such unique personalities and can be stylized in so many ways.
Which do you prefer: cats or dogs?
Dogs…but I prefer drawing cats.
