I love how a single paint stroke, gesture or expression can tell an entire story. Over the years, my expertise in portrait and figurative illustration has developed due to daily drawing, working closely with clients, and refining a style that centres clarity, emotion, and simplicity. As an illustrator who specializes in gestural, minimalist portraits, I nurture this focus by observing real people, studying movement, and translating character into clean, expressive lines that feel both contemporary and timeless. What I love most about portraiture is its ability to communicate identity and mood instantly—it creates a connection between subject and viewer in a way that feels both intimate and impactful.

Which of your portraits is a personal favorite?
I don't have a favourite! Each drawing captures something new, and it's that essence that keeps me drawing, on a constant discovery.
What is the most important feature to capture?
For me the most important feature to capture is a feeling. It's something that you can't put into words, the image brings something that the written word can't, and I find that really exciting.
What would your dream project be?
I think that dream projects are a meeting of minds, where the end result is far bigger than the sum of its parts. I'd love to work with clients who connect with my work and are interested in bringing it to new applications and new audiences. I hope that my portraits have the power to make a woman feel seen, and hold space for introspection and a gentle becoming.
