CREATIVE STATEMENT
As an illustrator specialising in healthcare, social care, education and public-sector communication, I have developed a strong understanding of how to portray people with sensitivity and authenticity. I am particularly interested in human behaviour – subtle expressions, body language and the small gestures that communicate emotion and connection. I believe successful healthcare and educational illustration should feel clear, inclusive and human. My visual style combines Scandinavian simplicity with soft pastel colours and watercolour textures, creating warm and approachable imagery that helps make complex or sensitive subjects easier to understand.

Q&A
Do you draw from a model or your imagination?
I often draw from images. But to practice I sometimes go to classes in life drawing/croquis.
What is your favorite activity to illustrate?
People in situations , talking or walking.
Where do you find inspiration for new people and poses?
Their eyes and gaze are incredibly expressive and can reveal so much about their emotions and the mood of a scene. Hands are equally important—their gestures and positioning can help communicate a situation and the relationship between people.
