CREATIVE STATEMENT
My interest for animation began four years ago, driven by a desire to bring my oil paintings to life. I specialize in transforming traditional artworks into animations that captivate and convey emotion. Analyzing animated films inspires me to understand what makes them compelling, and I try and combine that insight into my work. What I love most about animation is its limitless potential to turn ideas into shared experiences. For me, strong storytelling, precise timing, and thoughtful design are the cornerstones of successful animation. To refine my skills, I continuously explore painting and animation techniques through classes and practice.

What really brings an animation to life?
Bringing an animation to life involves creating characters with personalities, emotions, movements and timing. Using sound effects can bring the most simply animation to life, like the splash I added to my cake falling into the creek below, it made all the difference.
