CREATIVE STATEMENT
My interest in food and drink illustration began in the 70’s, when I was given a commission to make a cook book. Over the years, my expertise has developed due to working the food purveyor Albert Heijn. What I love most about this subject matter, is its ability to become entertaining and wonderful. To create a successful food illustration, it’s important to draw it first—by hand—then, finish it and finess it on a computer.
