CREATIVE STATEMENT

As an illustrator of over 35 picture books, my creative process involves depicting expressive characters, vibrant settings, and thoughtful compositions producing a visual story that resonates with the author’s intended tone. I draw inspiration from everyday life, the play of colour and humour, and the emotions of young children. Through my artwork, I can bring out laughter inviting readers to respond with giggles  and questions, connecting with the authors words. What I love most about picture books are their ability to enchant, educate, and entertain, creating a magical space where readers of all ages can escape, learn, and connect with stories that resonate with them.
